Frequently Asked Questions

ALL THE ANSWERS YOU NEED IN OUR FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you need to know

Make sure to read this article, “Everything You Need to Know.”  It will answer just about all of your questions.

What do you do for safety?

A lot of games are played at the Battlearium.  As you will read and see, safety is one of our highest priorities for you.

Arrow Battles
You will be provided a mask and arm guards. The arrows are foam-tipped so even at close range, the impact is barely noticeable. At Battlearium, we utilize bows that have a maximum draw weight of 25lb. Outside bows are strictly prohibited from entering the arena.

Dart Wars
You will be provided with protective eyewear.  Only Rival balls are used in the Battlearium — which are foam and shouldn’t hurt when you get hit. If you’ve never been hit by a nerf-type gun with one of these projectiles, ask a young person you know if they think it hurts.

Tactical Laser Tag
Because of the laser tag system we use, protective eyewear is not required.

We don’t use the hard rubber balls you experienced in middle school.  We use small, soft, nerf balls that are actually regulation for most dodgeball leagues.

Is experience required?

You don’t need any experience to play at the Battlearium. We do training and teach you how to use all the equipment and understand own your safety.

Are there age restrictions?

Yes, we do have age restrictions to play in the Battlearium.

  • To play in a Foam Dart Battle, you must be 5 or older.
  • To play in Archery War or Laser Tag, you must be 7 or older.

Are there lockers?

How long does one Battlearium booking last?

Your booking is for 1 hour. We will get you in, equipped, and trained in about 10 minutes. Expect to play for 50 solid minutes.

Do you allow walk-ins?

No, we only do private parties of 4 or more people.  A private party must be booked at least 3 hours in advance.

What’s the minimum number needed?

We only allow private groups of 4 people or more.  Our arena is 3,000 square feet.  Believe us – you don’t want to try and play 1v1 or 1v2 in that size of an area.  Trust us the minimum number of people you want is 4 people.  Bring more.  The more people the more fun!

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards are accepted. And we love it when you use cash!

You will be able to use the store credit to re-book your game for a different date or time to be used within 90 days of cancellation.

Can I bring my own equipment?

You may bring your own protective eyewear and your own Rival Nerf gun. No outside bows are allowed in the Battlearium.

If I come, what should I bring?
